Alton Towers Vlog March 2025 - OPENING DAY!

The start of the 2025 season has arrived at Alton Towers and in this vlog I head to the park to capture the atmosphere of opening day! This includes the public opening day for Toxicator, the new Top Spin in Forbidden Valley. Along with sharing more footage of Toxicator in the daytime, I also experience this awesome ride at night! I also check out the rest of the park and share the latest updates, including my first ride of the year on Nemesis Reborn and some very poor ride availability!

So nice to see you getting so much love just while walking around the park, your channel is so great for the community. We all want to see AT back to it's best, they have done a lot of good work which sometimes goes unnoticed because of the shocking ride availability.

Merlin are on borrowed time. They obviously have huge budget issues with all the job cuts and closing attractions under their umbrella. I’ve stopped visiting their parks, took my boy to Thorpe Park last year and it was miserable. Early afternoon before we got on our first major ride due to availability and operations.

Can you imagine what a quality park operator like Disney or Universal could do with a historical and beautiful site like Alton Towers? The venue and public deserve better than this - it’s an embarrassment.

Nice to see you’re honesty and frustrations shared. For the average Theme park goer you’d spend between 4/6hrs at a park due to travel, considering Nemesis was 2.5hr wait and either the rides are not functioning or have a 90min wait, you’re looking at full price tickets for an average of riding 3rides, which is absolutely unacceptable ! Shocking doesn’t exactly instil you with confidence to ride them when they have so many issues

I think this is why I never risk going to theme parks on opening days I at least wait about a month after opening to go so there’s less issues and testing, but such a shame for u Shawn! At least u got to interact with lots of fans tho!! I hope to see u someday again like I did in 2019, best wishes to u and charlotte and baby keep up the great vids!!

We left around 4pm after doing only 5 rides (we got into the park at 9:30). A few years ago if I arrived at the park around that time, I could get on 5 rides before 10:30.
