Preventive Maintenance Coil Cleaning HVAC Home A/C Unit

Today, I'll showing you how to do a quick PM. Your Air Conditioning unit outside has coils around it. These coils need to be cleaned periodically. This is a fairly quick preventive maintenance technique that can save you $$. This also extends the life of your HVAC unit.

Nu-Calgon No Rinse Coil Cleaner:

Coil Cleaning Whisk:

Check your old capacitor for right size:

GE Round Capacitor 40 / 5

GE Round Capacitor 45 / 5

You pushed dirt back into the coil by spraying it from the outside.

Next time show the complete step by step tear down, give caution on working around the capacitor and remove the top to spray from the inside out.
