I love mindless action as much as the next person, and that is why I thoroughly relish every installment of the Fast and Furious franchise. Its nice to sometimes suspend disbelief, look at the frenetic imagery, and have a good laugh at the zaniness of it all. However, I think actors and actresses who pride themselves on their reputation as "serious" dramatic thespians steer clear of The Fast and Furious for fear of not being taken seriously.

I’m glad there’s finally an explanation with why Ja Rule’s character who was heavily promoted at the time to being in the film got reduced to a cameo role. Ja Rule should never got too big for his bridges (no pun intended to Ludacris) by turning this down as this could’ve been his big break for his film career to get really kickstarted especially in hindsight now when you saw what happened with his music career dwindling down a couple of years later thanks to his old foe 50 Cent resurfacing & the fans turning on Jeff & Irv.
