Muhammad did his best to bring Jesus to a level lower than what he is, making him just a human being. Even so, Jesus still rose to the occasion and displayed his power, majesty and proved he was God...he created and he had witnesses. That is just how powerful Jesus is and Muslims are blinded to this reality by Satan himself. The truth about Jesus is in their book, yet they will deny it because they have been conditioned to deny the deity of Jesus. Messianic Jews such as Dr Michael Brown and Sid Roth say that the Messiah was to have particular amazing-level miracles, such as the healing of a man born blind (John 9), and indeed there are prophecies about these, such that those Jewish expectations were created - Jesus fulfilled them. If there was a superior prophet to come later, there would be credible prophecies about him, and he'd need to do greater miracles. There are certain biblical texts muslims try to interpret as prophecies about Mohammed, but they don't fit him very well, and some are recognisably messianic prophecies, fulfilled by Lord Jesus.

When quran say “They didn’t kill him, nor did they crucify him”… it actually is true.. “they” is the “Jews” and they consented to the death of Christ but did not kill him themselves. I’m Scripture Jews even said it was unlawful to put him to death.. so the Roman did it

It's the ultimate disappointment of Islam that their description of Jesus is unique but the only conversations seem to be about something's he never said.
And why does Allah dispute with him over it, doesn't he know what he said?
They create a miraculous backdrop but erase the narrative, it all goes to human all too human Muhammad.
