This is a short reading passage in french which i have prepared to help those who wish to learn reeading in french. i have explained the key words or some words that i belive may be unfamiliar to some people in this passage. Below is the English translation of the passage

PASSAGE 1: IN THE KITCHEN

In every home, you will find a kitchen. The kitchen serves a very important purpose in every establishment. Apart from the home, other establishments such as restaurants, hospitals, schools and hotels have kitchens. The kitchen is where we store, prepare and cook our foods as well as other recipes. Usually, most people prefer to take small meals such as breakfast in the kitchen. In every kitchen whether at home or in a non-residential settlements, one can find equipment such as stove, refrigerator, sink and other electrical appliances.
