Finally, a Truly Reliable NERF AEG (it's actually overpowered)

NERF AEGs (or AEB - Automatic Electronic Blaster) have been more miss than hit, and the race is on to make a truly compelling option to revolutionize the hobby. Why? Because it's overpowered: a springer that acts like a flywheeler with none of the downsides of either. Getting a reliable one has been tricky, but the Inverted Scales with the Zhilin Kit is rock solid being made of dependable materials and failing to jam or squib on me a single time. Yeah you can nitpick, and I will, but it's definitely the biggest step forward for the platform of AEBs yet.

Fun fact: buying an actual grease gun is cheaper than this blaster (250$, ajusted for inflation, 15$ in the 1940's).

I am so glad to see AEG's coming back into the hobby. I know the Stampede was one of my first power fantasy blasters a lot of us had back in the day. Trying to mod them before Flywheelers were the norm. I know the hobby has been stagnant for a while with either springer primary or fly wheeler. I'm hoping we see more innovation especially going forward into the new year.

5:40 my heart sank a little considering the dozens of hours I poured into my nerf stampede mod... only to be obliterated by this beastly responsive new thing. Then I saw the price. Ah, my stampede shall do.

What about the sweetheart storm 2.0 or 2.0 plus, it looks like they also fire at 7-12 dps at 240 and 300 respectively and is readily available from what if seen

The fact that this blaster looks like the M3 Grease Gun is a nice parallel to the MP40-style Colonel Wasp 76

6:29 not only smaller but also thats HUGELY important for any aeG to use stiffer foam darts if you like to not have jams and stuff

Thanks for the video, I have been a long time fan of the Stampede. A modern half dart Stampede would be a welcomed addition to the hobby. I wish you had shown some firing footage with your MDM, that would have been epic.

i was incredibly surprized by how powerful this is. I even decided to convert the FPS into Joules to get a comparison to airsoft (my main combat sport these days) and i was shocked that it was sustainably hitting 2.5 to 3 Joules

Definitely forgot about these sort of blasters even though I held on to a stampede just for the mod potential. Kinda hope *if* we ever get a 40k Bolter from nerf they go with AEB mega to give it the size, sound and recoil it'd deserve.

9:45 Literally the same way you change a spring on an Airsoft AEG. Would take 5 minutes at most.

I can’t describe how much I want this to be made to be HvZ. 110-120 FPS, select fire AEB would be insane.
