Dog saved from freezing cold ice by RSPCA inspector

This happens too often in the winter months. So sad for the ones that do not survive. Thank you for rescuing him!

That dog just received more love, from more humans than I have in my entire lifetime.

One year ago I had to save one of my dogs who went through the ice in the middle of a little river near by. It was minus 5, and I had to undress and jump out into the freezing water. Surprisingly I was dry and warm again after a few minutes when I came up, while the dogs fur froze to ice. Luckily we were just a few minutes from home. I somewhat was prepared for this to happen. She's extremely eager to enter rivers and lakes in order to take a swim, no matter what season.

Amazing team.... that was scary!!
She was so positive and courageous going out there to that dog ....he walks and then boom.... the men pulled her right to shore. All heroes!! Thank you for all that you do....Angels on earth.
