I have the Spark 40 and it is a good at home practice amp. With 40 watts I figured I’d take it to church and use it in our church band see if it could handle that environment. It won’t. A large auditorium overwhelms this little amp. Positive Grid is selling a large cabinet speaker to go with this amp. It might be able to handle a large environment pushing that cabinet.

Best guitar amps i own and will never get rid of is my 100 watt Marshall valve state 100 combo amp ot had a 12 inch celstien greenhack speaker, marshall vintage modern 100 watt full stack 2 4*12 cabs and my mom and dad got thet for me for my 13th birthday anf they literally just came out and hit the showroom floor of guotar center a month nefore my birthday and they only paid 750 dollars gor it best investment ever cause of how much they worth now, peavy Windsor 50watt combo class A tube amp amazing amo for super clean to es and blues tones, boss katana mkiii 100 watt full stack and the 50watt combo and last but not least my 100 watt vonbo marshall dsl 100 and dsl40 amazing tube marshall amps. And these amps i losted are great for any guitar player especially the boss katana mkii 50 combo is great for a beginner guitar player has everything ypu will ever need and all the tines and effects and you can adjust the oedel board virtually on lap top and turn the pedels on and off and select them with a mutli selection foot swithches and you can hook it up to cabs and use it as a head or run it straight to the front of house and through moxing board and through pa system when live. Pair that amp woth a nice Epiphone lespaul standard and have it set up correctly ypu will have a setup for less then a grand that will last you a lofe time kf giitar playing and will never out grow that setup unless you want a tube amp woth a massive pedel board which we all have eventually cause its fun and sounds amazing. But for a beginner gou cant beat the katana it aounds amazing all the effects you will ever need and pair it with the boss gt-1 and you will have unlimited tones and have a wah peddle abd a peddle for effects that you can move up and fown woth your foot to do volume swells as well. And they both hook up to the boss tone studios on a lap tap and i use my gt-1 with my marshall vintage modern or dsl40 at some gogs and its so nice. I can set my lresets for every song with the effects pedels in order so all i do is go in lrder with my set lost from effects presst 1-45 and thats the whole show in order for all the effects switching for all the slngs on the setlist

But when he said the boss katana has a acoustic channel thats not to make a electric guitar spund acoustic thats for acoustic guitars with a pickup to be able to ise them with the boss katana and have a acoustic channel sp ot sounds good and not have to haave a acoustic guitar amp and can use the katana and all kts effects with your acoustic guitar that has a pickup. Ot has feed back a lottle and doesnt spjnd right with an electric huitar kn that channel its a little off sounding to me
