I recently tried this out and you know this product could have been really good if the fader on this was an actual crossfader with a sharp cut instead of the silly switch you guys used. This is the same toy crossfader you guys at Numark had used for the controller of the never released DJ video game "Scratch The Ultimate DJ". This little switch actually wouldn't have even been half bad if it actually had a tight cut but it doesn't even have that. The mini portable scratch scene is exploding right now and you guys at NUMARK should really consider going back to the drawing board and release a PT01 version with a higher performance replaceable fader. I would have bought this weeks ago for myself and my 10 year old girl DJ students were it not for the disappointing toy crossfader used.

Why not direct drive ? since this is for scratching. Like Technics it's so nice to scratch on direct drive turntables and they last a lot lot longer too!

Can I still use this with a raiden FADER or a JDDX2R? i Don`t know whether I like the switch... and usable portables are kinda hard to come buy if you don`t want to spend a fortune on them ;)

Hi, just two question, can i still use an external fader (like raiden ) with this new model?And, even if there is the scratch switch on the platter, is there enough space to listen to a 12 inch record? for record digging?

Can you only scratch on the 7'' vinyl or with a 12'' too ? Will using the 12'' record cover the fader ?
