I bought a 21 plate polo. 1 litre turbo. Brilliant car for the price. I do a fair amount of motorway driving and it does the job. Would recommend

I’m a RED Driving Instructor and have been teaching in a ‘22 plate Vauxhall Corsa. RED are now phasing out the Corsa and are exchanging them for this very VW Polo. Looking forward to getting mine in 2 weeks!

I have sat in the VW Polo at a dealership today. My height is 5'11, but total height might not be the only thing, torso to leg length might be a factor. The thing is, if the front driver seat is pushed back completely, to maximum, then there is zero room for a person, even a child behind.

Tim, I'm not sure you'll ever EVER live down the mincing along on Minty at 0:28... As for the review, I'd definitely want a larger engine here in Australia, but they really are such a pretty car and I've always been a fan of the VW/Audi dashes - clean, and oh so stylish in a less is more way. Not so keen on the manufacturers' mafioso "You want a software feature.... PAY US!"

This may surprise British viewers, but if we could get the Polo in Canada, I likely would have bought that over my 6MT Jetta. I love my Jetta, but I always have favored a hatchback. Cool car! Definitely would want the turbocharged version.

There's not enough difference in price between a decent engined Polo and the entry level Golfs. The Golf is better in pretty much every way.

Something utterly odd about this car is that the oil dipstick wire colour is black - how on earth are you supposed to see the oil level on a black coloured wire?!!
