Single Serving Rice Krispie Treat | Two Secret Ingredients

Buttery, chewy, sweet, crunchy and a bit of salty, this Rice Krispie Treat for One is perfection. Made in the microwave or the stove top, this 3 ingredient treat only takes minutes to make!

Recipe:
1 1/2 Tbsp butter
1 cup mini marshmallows or 8 large marshmallows
1 cup Rice Krispie Cereal
You can do this in the microwave or the stove top.
Microwave: Put butter into a microwave safe bowl and put some kind of cover cover over the top or it will make a mess!
Microwave for 3 1/2 minutes (time may vary in your microwave). You want the butter to turn a golden brown color.
Add in marshmallows. Return to microwave for 30 more seconds. The marshmallows will puff up.
Add in Rice Krispies and stir to coat.
Place on a piece of parchment paper and form into a rectangle.
Sprinkle lightly with some Maldon flaky salt.

Stovetop
Melt butter and allow to cook until it starts to turn golden brown.
Add in marshmallows and stir to melt.
Pour in Rice Krispies and stir to coat.

Follow directions above for forming

Omg this is exactly what I needed! Thank you so much I am making a HS graduation cake for my niece's graduation party in July; & onr if my decorations I wanted to do is a small graduation cap. I did not want to use cake for the bottom part and immediately knew I wanted to do homemade fondant covered rice krispie BUT didn't want to have to make a full batch lol. This will be perfect!
