I would always turn the controller on first then set up the drone. By the time I had finished setting the drone up I would need to wait a few more seconds for the controller to finally boot up. This is going to be loads better. Thanks for the video mate.

Dji could add an option to set the C1 or C2 button to update homepoint to the RC or drone location

Before I updated, the RC2 took 80 seconds to boot up. After, it was 33 seconds. Just that makes it worth an update.

Great update, but a group of us have been continually asking dji could you do an update for more control of the zoom regards speed and buffering like the other settings, cant understand why they haven't done it, and more people haven't requested it, love to know your thoughts..thanks....

Absolutely no firmware updates for me whatsoever? Even tried downloading the assistant 2 for Mac and that doesn’t work either, not good

Thanks Darren for making update video and originally bringing it up about the RC 2 issues. Mainly the sluggishness, but the (P) when in Normal mode only bothered me because I knew it wasn't right. Not affecting the the performance so the sluggishness was got in the way. It seems to be much faster. I need test it in the air. Thank you again Darren for the update and reading our comments, everything man.

Updated mine a couple of hours before you released this video - my RC2 now boots and is ready to go a lot faster. BTW the "p" mode didn't bother me, that was something I couldn't care less about

One small enhancement that could be made is to provide some form of guidance or markers on the mini-map or compass when a user drops a pin on the map to mark a specific location. This would be helpful when flying to that location, as it would provide a visual reference to follow.

First time I pushed my drone out of signal on the RC1 which is pretty crap anyway tbf but the drone came back home so was happy with the safety features

Ive been trying to update to the lastes App version on my RC2 controller for Mini 4 Pro. All very strange: It said Firmware up to date or occasionally Server Error. I noticed however the RC Firmware was V 02.02.0000 & Aircraft Firmware was 01.00.0500 BUT App Version remains 1.13.0 and not 1.13.4. Have tried updating via the DJI Assistant 2, both aircraft and RC2 not difference except on start up the RC, once connected to the drone, flashes up N Mode the changes to P Mode.
Am totally flummoxed. Can anyone help please???

I was not getting a prompt for the RC2 update. I powered off drone and RC2. Only powered on the RC2. I got a prompt to update (main screen with background), said yes, then it was downloading... Let RC2 sit to download. New prompt, install now.. RC2 reboots. FW update complete.

Excellent news Darren great channel, could I ask if you've heard of when Dji will have a firmware update too the Air 2s for video transmission upgrade from 03+ to 04 so we can use the new RC2 remote n be compatible?

Funky update. In RC2, have to go to "About" under Profile/Settings rather than "Firmware Update" to force the Fly App update to 13.4. It doesn't notify that an update is available even though "Auto Check for Updates" toggle is on.
