The Italian Grand Prix circuit is a legendary one, but doesn't lend itself very well to DRS overtakes...

Can't wait to see what ferrari pulls off this weekend.
I went to Imola, so I know what ferrari disappointment is.

If Ferrari get through their home race without making any monumental strategy errors that will be a win for them regardless of their placing.

Ferrari are probably gonna turn up their engines to the max mode and take an extra penalty later in the season just so they have the advantage at Monza. Not that'll matter once they put Leclerc on wets in the dry and Sainz gets a 40 minute pitstop because they full on forget to bring the wheel gun from maranello

I’m a Lewis fan but Max and RBR have got it all dialed in this is his championship and prob the next one too he’s a beast !

With RedBull, you'd have the chance DRS doesnt work anyway, no matter the circuit.

"Max, please only press it ONCE"

If there’s one race where the red team have to put it all together, it’s this one. The Tifosi deserve nothing less than a win or at least a double podium.

Rather than me praying for a massive headwind, I’m just praying for no more disappointment from the home team

Wind in Monza is rare... very rare. I've lived in the area all my life until 2017 and usually wind is never there, especially early September, still hot, still humid and very sunny.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Williams higher up on the grid

Something I am wondering which I feel have been forgotten about because of Mercs "terrible" season. When the teams rocked up at pre season testing, first event Merc had a normal car and then at Bahrain they showed up with their innovative design. Everyone were so excited about their sidepod-less design that would produce so little drag, but now everyone is talking baout how slow and draggy the Merc is. What gives?

Considering how big that main straight is it is amazing how underpowered drs is here

It really depends on what the teams can run to optimize their laptimes, lower drag, lower downforce on a very fast circuit like Monza can be key but you still have to balance everything, so in my opinion in Monza we are gonna see the hugest differences of pace between teams, accounting for the Sprint Race and the grid penalties that might occur we are gonna get an exciting weekend ahead of us, with loads of overtakes made easier by the drs. None the less it's a RedBull 1-2, that thing has a cx of a mosquito.

WTF1 is spoiling us with such amazing content :D

Why? Simple: Monza is a high speed track so all cars already have minimal downforce.
Therefore DRS won't add much top speed.
I predict that the Red Bulls will have enough top speed without DRS to stay ahead of Ferrari's with DRS.

I'll speak up for the broadcasters on the wind issue. It's my first year watching and they definitely made it clear (to my memory) how big a factor wind has been at certain sectors of several tracks this year.

For everyone wanting to get rid of DRS in F1, just look at DRS trains. This is what racing without a DRS system would be because no one would be able to pass.

Can you do a video on how the new regulations have affected overtakes with stats from all the races so far vs previous years?

I really hope that Ferrari does well this weekend
And that's coming from a Red Bull fan

I don't know why but I have a feeling Ferrari might actually show up this weekend. Of course it is a home race, but it seems like whenever you expect Ferrari to do well, they bottle it. And when you expect them to not even be in the fight, they put in a decent run. And everyone is expecting Max to run away with it at Monza.
