Please join the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program for a conversation between Fereidun Fesharaki, Founder and Chairman of FGE, and Ben Cahill, Senior Fellow in the CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program.

Dr. Fesharaki will assess the global oil market, including the demand outlook for the second half of the year, especially in Asia, as well as the effectiveness of continued OPEC+ production restraint. He will also discuss the global LNG picture, including the medium-term market balance and the long-term demand outlook in Asia.

Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki is the Founder and Chairman of FGE, a leading provider of fundamentals analysis, data, and consulting on global energy. His work is recognized worldwide for pioneering oil and gas market analysis and studies of the Asia Pacific/Middle East energy markets. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Surrey in England and then completed a Visiting Fellowship at Harvard University’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
