Thanks for the tips on confluence. What would be really nice, and so far I’ve not seen any content creators do this with confluence videos on YouTube, but if you build a full dashboard to show the power of confluence in a video so people can see what exactly it will do for them.

For example, I’m in the defense logistics industry, and my confluence space at work has multiple parent and child pages. I’ve developed multiple dashboard that displays a page properties report for any technical projects I’m currently working, it has pivot tables that display important information from my shipments found in child pages, it provides pie charts on status of shipments, status of projects and so on.

Content creators I’ve seen in YouTube so far are good about covering the basics and/or individual topics but not about showing how easy it is to create a full dashboard that actually provides benefit to people that might use it.

I really like your video. Do you know a way to create a template of a series of pages much like children display you showed but as templates to reuse.

Example:

I have a parent page that has 3 children nested within.

I want to create a template that captures the parent AND it's children as new documents to use for say another set of release documentation.

I can create each page as a template. But then I have to add each page to the respective parent.
