Spend time in both countries years ago. Panama 's beaches are more beautiful and more affordable . We found that people are less friendly though than in CR . Costa Rica is the most expensive country in Central America but I enjoyed it more than Panama.

Go to Bocas 2 out of three years. Should tell people weather is sunny most late dec to march.. Then mostly rainy and cloudy. Great place.

We flew but met some folks we met on our trip did the night bus and said they'd wish they paid for the flight. I guess I'll have to try the bus next time to see if they were exaggerating. Starfish, by the way is great but if you walk just around the corner, along the path that leads back to boca del Drago, there is a bay that is the stuff of postcards. Great vid !

I've also been to both countries, & agree that PTY has better beaches. I went to RFB back in 2005 before it was built up .

I live in Panama bocas del toro my dad owns ( the barco loco ) bar and my mom owns ( tangerine school ) my best friends mom owns( azul paradise )

Costa Rica is an entire country, Bocas del Tro is just a place of Panáma and it looks really similiar actually, noce video, silly comparison.
