Hurricane Ida left entire communities without power and no cell signal to call for help. Officials are in an urgent race to find families still trapped in their homes.

With the heat wave still over the country, it's going to get really hot but I find it hard to have empathy for those who refused to leave with the notice they had. We here are getting the last wave from this storm tomorrow for a good part of the day but at least the storm past and degraded. I am shocked the final wave is still out here actually.
