On today's Funky Food Friday video we are trying out some jerky BUT this is not your average beef jerky... They make all sorts of funky jerky! We got Camel, Alligator, Ostrich, Kangaroo, and Hammerhead Shark!

I'm a fan of Jerky.. We take it on road trips, backpacking, fishing, hunting.. I've had wild game jerky(Elk and Buffalo)are some of my Favorites...I'd try them..

I love Jerkey. But unfortunatly we can not get the big pieces over here. The ones that have 2 or 3 bites per piece. Sometimes we can get Biltong. South African style jerkey.it is delicious. Jamis face when you mentioned the animals Jess.

The camel is the only one of these meats I haven't tried, shark is good as a steak like tuna just lightly seasoned and cooked in a hot pan with very little oil, the others I had them as both burgers and steaks and I really enjoyed them, well worth getting if you can.

I’ve tried kangaroo 🦘 meat but that was fresh and that tasted amazing. I have also tried beef jerky, both standard and BBQ flavours. Jerky is really expensive in the UK. I have to say that Jamie was really brave today, at least he tried everything and Maddie was as amazing as usual( she did not pull many faces at all😁). Never had jerky before. Been interested in trying it but I have know idea where to start. Has there are alot of bad jerky out there.

LOL! Great video and great review. Great idea. What did Jami think you said at the beginning? New Port?? I love how Jami says NO when asked if he would try anything again...LOL! He did not even have to think of it. But I was proud that he did try them. I am sure if you said what they were from the start they would have NOTHING to do with it. I love jerky and biltong, I’ve put in an order to this place of various stuff to try. Not sure why they consider lamb to be exotic, but I suppose it’s not a staple in the us.

We have a local resteraunt that does exotic meat stir fry’s I was disappointed as crocodile was fishy. Ostrich is nice, kangaroo has a bit of a metallic tang to it. Zebra was really good, but too close to horse for people I know to be fans.

Just wondering what part of the animal the meat came from. As in would Kangaroo leg meat differ from tail meat or torso meat. Well done Jami And Maddi

Ah Skippy got turned into jerky lol Skippy was a tv show with a Kangaroo long time ago lol i'm with jami on this, yuck to that
