Damn, I’m only 8 years older than this masterpiece..? This was our go-to CD to pop in for the after school smoke sesh with the boys. I swear that even to this day, when I hear the opening to Waiting For My Ruca, it triggers something in my head, that… I can literally smell burning weed. Doesn’t matter where I’m at, or who I’m with… but as soon as those drums kick in, it feels like I’m a teenager back in Lakewood CA, in the mid 90s… and chillen with my skater friends, without a care in the world.

RIPBrad I remember promoting a show at Empire ballroom a long time ago for Alton who had Sun at T bird. zme and Dan my friend had Friday atT bird. I booked Burnin Groovethat nightand Sublime played that night too. I was and am happy I got to see them with Brad 5 feeet away singing.and gave me the Nod and I returned with the same. like the Nod us nlocal surfers use sometimes where I lived. A great bandwith great music I liked alot the first time I heard. PULLED UP AND HOPPED ONTO THE GROUND FREEBOARDING IN Parker at Bluewater before the Casino was built our group of the party crew at our High school used to camp on the shore there. My friend another Brian had me listen to them that day. Good times and theymade great music I STILL LIKE AND i AM OLDER AND STILL PUNK AND PROUDIt is a good thing!
