MILLIA RAGE - GUILTY GEAR Strive vs GUILTY GEAR Xrd

ArcSys just released a new Guilty Gear Strive trailer that shows Milia and Zato-1. Zato-1 kinda changed a lot to the point where I don't think I can make a great comparison video for him. That's why I only have a comparison video for Millia this time. Hope you guys enjoy this video.

It's funny how you have Xrd, a game with supremely great graphics, look severely outdated next to Strive. This is real evolution.

Millia has different expression.
Xrd -> grinning playful elegant. The look down to the thrash seems convey better of her personality
Strive -> serious beautiful elegant
that throw on the head like angel's throw from KOF

Really liking her new face. Reminds me of the old GG days. I could never pinpoint Why I didn’t like her Xrd design, but I think I found it. Not saying she isn’t beautiful either way, but as a kid I just liked how serious and stern faced she was.

I didn't really like how Millia looked in Xrd, but with the new artstyle for her in Strive it makes her look better. Her hair looks better, her face looks better (it looks like how it looked in her old artwork), and she doesn't look like she's wearing a banana outfit now.

millia in strive is so much stylish also her face is better too. in Xrd her face is so pointy

It's interesting, her throw now is entirely an athletic move on her part it seems and doesn't involve attacking with her hair at all.

From stiff experimental animation to a more fluid cinematic intro Arc system works has come a long way from their earlier days and still look fantastic!!!! ( even their earlier animations are still genuine works of art!)
