What Major and Classes do I need to become a Veterinarian?

Hi I'm Dr. Jasmine Shanelle, a Veterinarian who loves helping future docs navigate the rewarding but turbulent waters of life and veterinary school. Today I'll be discussing the best field to major in to increase your chance of getting into vet school and what classes you'll need to take. Also what your average course load in undergrad will look like.

I’m 27. I wanted to be a vet when I was younger, recently the idea has come to me again . I’ve been looking into schools and programs, I’m extremely nervous about it because I HATE school. I’m going to pray over this and pray that I can do this and stick with it . I’ll be 36 or 37 when I’m done the program which is still very young . I’m excited to fulfill and do things I have a passion for, hopefully I can make a difference

I'm 16 and I'm starting to get my general education out of the way for college by the end of my junior year (this year) i will have 14 college credit hours completed I'm so excited I didn't know what other classes to take there isn't many things out there that are very helpful but this was a life saver thank you 💕
