He's right. I don't identify as communist but many conservatives I've talked to, who think I'm some sort of progressive, liberal, Marxist, communist snowflake, have actually geared towards commuism. They just don't know it. They talk about how all the profits are going to the top corporations, how the media controls the narrative, and so on. Then I tell them that their criticisms of "corporatism" is actually what Marx and many communists said of capitalism, and that it was actually communists who shaped the usage and definition of the word capitalism. The fact that many "communists" don't see this reality shows that they either work for the state or are useful idiots, i.e. liberals.
