I love pirates and everything about it, but ubisoft tends to disappoint

Things people want in a pirate game: freedom to explore, get off your ship, search islands for treasure, a minimal hud as you sail out onto the wide open ocean, to wonder if that ship in the distance behind you is friendly or going to raise a black flag when it gets close, board enemy ships and plunder their goods and then sell them at market.

Ubisoft: Okay bet. But you can't get off your ship except for these few locations, and there are intrusive icons all over your screen, and instead of a wide open ocean it's more like Monday morning's busy commute with colourful ships everywhere all flying around like kids pushing trolleys. But it's okay, your ship can chop down trees.

Ubisoft always have had great trailers, I remember the watchdogs reveal trailer and the division too. Too bad the games don't turn out as well.

I heard this is supposed to be Naval Combat only, like no boarding other ships and actual pirate fighting its basically who just has the bigger and better ship ( pirate edition ) via Microtransactions

i like how the guy he bumps into at the beginning at the docks at min 0:30 ends up working with him, min 2:24 . nice consistency.
