Disney Should Stay Out of Politics. Completely.

Disney is getting more pushback from Pixar and other employees over its support of the Florida "Don't Say Gay" bill. Maybe Disney should try being APOLITICAL and treat both sides equally so it doesn't get caught in the crossfire of partisan politics? Just a thought.

Nothing says "diversity" like censoring same-sex-lovers and brown skin people for countries like China and Russia. Even then, stories and characters are important that anyone can love the shows and movies.

In this climate, being apolitical will be seen as an attack. I keep seeing the phrases "Silence is Violence!" or "Silence is murder." So even if you do not take a side you are automatically seen as the enemy because you did not side with them. And I am using "them" as a general term, not one political or social group, like Side A vs Side B.

Friendly reminder from a gay man that the "Don't Say Gay" bill is actually about not having K-3rd CHILDREN exposed to sexual content, and sexual orientation or gender identity teaching in public schools. If you want that in schools that says more about YOU than people who want this bill. Having that in schools is very close to grooming and claiming it's for the LGBT community just reinforces the idea that gays are child predators and groomers.

Lately people have been comparing Biden to Carter on account of the fuel prices and long lines. The Carter years were from 1977 to 1981.

Even though there were hardships back then, films like Star Wars, Superman (the good one), Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Blade Runner, The Empire Strikes Back and so on, still managed to get made. Pop culture churned out enduring art, in films, television and music, that are still highly regarded today.

EVEN under high prices AND the threat of nuclear war. Conditions that have reared their ugly heads once again. And what does modern pop culture have to show for itself. They have been desperately and unimaginatively rehashing properties from the 70s and 80s! Not to mention the representation nonesense.

The "Don't say gay bill", so labeled by the dems/libs is actually called: " Senate Bill 1834, Parental Rights In Education ". Governor Ron DeSantis proposed the bill and should be highly praised for defending GODLY VALUES. GOD BLESS him.
