"This" vs. "That"
- "This" is used when you are talking about something that is close to you in distance, time, or relation. Think of it as pointing to something right in front of you.
- "That" is used when you are talking about something that is farther away from you in distance, time, or relation. Think of it as pointing to something farther away or over there.

Example with Distance:
- This apple in my hand is red. (The apple is close to you.)
- That apple on the table is green. (The apple is farther away from you.)

Example with Time:
- This morning, I had coffee. (The morning is in the present or very recent past.)
- That morning, I went for a run. (The morning is in the past, not today.)

Example with Relation:
- This movie I'm watching is great. (The movie is currently being watched by you.)
- That movie I saw last week was boring. (The movie is not currently being watched; it was in the past.)

Visual Aid:
Imagine you are holding an object and pointing to another object farther away:
- This (holding the object close to you)
- That (pointing to the object farther away)

Applying to Your Sentence:
- "That brown bull has long horns."
- Here, "that" is used because the brown bull is likely not right next to you; it's farther away.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more examples or clarifications.
