Pennsylvania Ruffed Grouse Hanging out and Drumming on the Ridge Log 10/2020

I have been trying to capture a Ruffed Grouse drumming on a log for years, finally happened..although next time I will adjust the camera to the right a tad as the grouse appears to hang out at that spot which is to the far right edge of the camera view.

I just want to fly up there from Canada with my lawn chair and picnic cooler and sit and watch the amazing log life all day! It's so beautiful 🤩..And totally relaxing! Thank you for this great footage!

The big adult males drum a little in the Fall, alerting the youngsters-Get Your own log boys!!! Thanks for the clip.

Cool, but who is he trying to entice in autumn? Wiki says drumming is a spring mating thing. ( Not that I question what the video planely shows.)
