Fantastic Apple Carplay Android 13 Stereo in Facelift Fiat 500 or Abarth £92! #CarPlay #androidauto

I've done the research and the installation so you don't have to guess which is the best. I've fallen on my feet with this one. This is a stunningly beautiful OEM looking Android 13 Stereo from AliExpress.

This is for the Facelift Series 4 Fiat 500 and fits perfectly in the aperture and uses the 5 inch surround although the stereo itself is 7 inches. This will also save you changing it if you have an existing 5 inch unit.

It features wireless and wired Apple Car Play and Android Auto. FM RDS Radio, Bluetooth with Mic, GPS with a GPS receiver for Sat Nav, 2 x USB trailing leads, converter plugs supplied for the cars inbuilt USB & Aux as well as aerial converter. Steering controls work out of the box with no set up required using the supplied CanBus box. I installed this in about 45 minutes including the filming. It was so easy and it looks absolutely stunning.

Speaking of no audio if Auto Ant isn't hooked up to pin 41 my speakers don't turn on.
I'm trying to get information on the pins 'cus I don't want to splice it to the factory harness when there's a spot for it in the plug. I'm also going to try hooking the microphone line to pins 39 & 40 and see how the factory mic works with this head unit. Why hide another mic when there's one in the dash already.

Although it's a neat bit of kit, pity they didn't put a USB port on the front facia instead of a dangly lead. Dangly lead might be tidier in the glove box though.

If it's the same as the Xtrons model, bottom right is a microSD card slot for music, videos etc. It's to the right of the volume knob. A 128Gb MicroSD card should hold around 250 folders of MPs and FLAC. I use PowerAmp from the App store as the music player.
To the left the microSD card is, I think, for downloading off line map data.

Fitted one similar in a ford EcoSport had to take it out tho as the rear of the unit got so hot you could fry an egg on it.
