The Coulters - Farewell To Sicily

Farewell To Sicily was written by Hamish Henderson, the Scottish poet, songwriter and founder of the School of Scottish Studies at the University of Edinburgh. He penned these lyrics to the pipe tune Farewell To The Creeks whilst serving with the 51st Highland Division in Sicily in 1943.
Our arrangement of his song has Tom Blyth playing an electronic version of the pipes. Tom learned to play at a young age under the tutelage of his uncle who played with the Leith Dockers Pipe Band.
