The Turkish Ministry of Health notified on Thursday, December 14, the death of 53-year-old lawmaker Hasan Bitmez, who suffered a heart attack during an emotional anti-Israel speech.

Speaking to Turkey's legislature on December 12, Bitmez criticized those who support Israel and threatened that Israel and its allies will "soon feel the wrath of Allah." Having finished speaking, but not having time to move away from the podium, Bitmez lost consciousness and fell.

The incident was captured on video. The deputy was immediately hospitalized, where he was diagnosed with a heart attack. Doctors fought for his life, but to no avail: today the death of the politician was recorded.
