Living Wyvern Guide! 12M+ Gp/Hr?! [Runescape 3] Amazing Slayer Task

Thanks a bunch for this, Maikeru! Your HCIM series helped me with mine a ton. If I could get myself to finish grinding out Smithing for Masterwork, that would be a huge upgrade from Bandos and probably make these much smoother.

When I do wyverns, I stay between 70 and 95% chill, this negates the poison damage but increases their melee damage, but you can negate it praying deflect melee. You stay full hp with scrimshaw, and I use absolutely no food besides the sharks they drop
You can also stall their aggresion by targeting another wyvern, but not attacking them

I’d love to see a guide for returning players that quit around the time EOC was implemented (i quit when dungeoneering was introduced, wasn’t a fan of a minigame being a skill) on what we should focus on and what account goals we should work towards!!!

I've got masterwork armour with dragon rider lance, vamp scrimshaw and use the wyrm pot with warmasters and still have to plow through food. This seems like one of those tasks that is "easy" with soulsplit and high 90s herblore. I can kill them but their aggressiveness doesn't help with trying to manage all the pots and the fire mechanics so I can only stay for like 5 kills.

Hit 120 slay yesterday this my fave task along with ripper demons gonna be choosing these almost every time I get the chance :)

A quick note here. If you have mutated barge + mutated flurry in conjunction with the mobile perk, you can no food + no scrimshaw them by threshold bleeding and stunning them in rotation. Flurry(bleed) into destroy then assault(bleed) into forceful backhand. I managed to sustain through an entire task with just vamp aura and excalibur using this method. Every 4th wyvern must be dealt with basics due to cds but that's just about it.

Did they get a buff? Even with vamp scrim i get hit for random tyless 2k hits randomly, i do exactly the same as u do in the vid maikeru and i have the same gear with the difference of using drygores instead of khopeshes?!, i have wyrmfire and holy ovl (seperated pots)

loved the video my man! I would say you should try camping them at 65-85 chill and pray melee with vamp scrimshaw
you take no annoying poison damage and you heal back pretty much everything the wyverns deals you
