MIDNATTSOL captures the imagination of their fans for the third time by whisking them away to the magical world of Nordic legends and sagas. The band, spearheaded by vocalist Carmen Elise Espenaes, continues to refine their characteristic sound and delivers a new jewel to the Gothic Metal scene. "The Metamorphosis Melody" is a charming collection of songs that sway among the harder tendencies of metal and the soothing melodies of atmospheric bliss. The special magic of "The Metamorphosis Melody" is masterfully accentuated by Markus Stock (Empyrium, The Vision Bleak) of Klangschmiede Studio E, whose know-how allowed each instrument and vocal line just enough room to unfold. @matienko8 Yeah, i dont like these young bands that are soooo "original". I don´t have anything against woman singers but it´s getting so boring to hear almost the same (even it sounds angel-like) and boring voice.
If you know Moonspell, you must know how a great voice sounds :D.

I can't belive, Carmen Elise is even more atonic than her sister Liv: that's really worrying for me. Moreover we have here yet another Nightwish clone band with some folkish influence but nothing really original or impressive. What a waste of resources...
