Should HUNTER be a RAMBO movie or Stand-Alone film? + STALLONE PHYSIQUE Update (tabloid edition)
Показать описание
On August 9th, the paparazzi was out taking pictures of Stallone and his family on the beach in Malibu and caught him reading the novel Hunter. Now of course, being the paparazzi, the Daily Mail in this instance, they’re generally out to make someone look bad and they did a pretty good job by posting some very unflattering pics with the story headline, "Rambo gets a beer belly! Sylvester Stallone, 74, displays a fuller physique as he enjoys a family beach day in Malibu".
Those pictures were in stark contrast to what Stallone posted on his own Instagram account and his physique most likely looks a lot better than the pictures posted by the Daily Mail.
Make sure to watch my video about the upcoming Sylvester Stallone movies coming out in 2020 and beyond here:
As far as the book Hunter goes, the character Nathaniel Hunter shares many similarities with the character of Rambo. For example, look how the book describes him. “Muscular with a ragged mane of black hair that fell slightly to his shoulders, Hunter seemed to have stepped out of another, more primitive age. His eyes were dark beneath a low, hard brow burned brown by years of living in the wild. His cheeks were sharp above a mouth deeply cast in a bronze frown. His broad shoulders, deep chest, and heavy arms were evidence of great strength…"
Depending on how close they stay with adapting the novel, there’d be a good opportunity for the supporting cast. Nathaniel Hunter does not seek this savage beast out himself. Instead, the government in need of his services has also assembled an international team of special forces soldiers to help track and kill the creature. Some of the more interesting characters would be Bobbi Jo, the sole woman and team’s sniper as well as Takakura, a katan wielding Japanese soldier. There’s also Buck Joyce, the comic relief of the group. And several other characters as well.
It would seem like a good fit for Stallone to just adapt the Hunter novel and make it take place in the Rambo Universe. This won't be the first time Stallone tried and I'll explain in this video why it's a good idea.
