Decent review of the Bridgestone. I was given a Taylormade Distance ball today and I was blown away with its performance. The ball jumped off the face of the irons and off the Driver, it was unbelievable. I’ve been playing Callaway Superfast and Srixon Q-Star and the Taylormade Distance ball was 20 yards longer. The greens were rock hard making it difficult to judge the spin. The thing that really blew my mind was the price point. I bought 2 dozen for $39. Love to hear your review.

YES!! The Bridgestone reviews! Love these balls! So many reasons why they're the only ball I want to play right now. The Tour BXS and BX are unreal! The dimple pattern is a bit strange but once you play these balls you'll forget all about it. They're also the most consistently straight ball I've ever played. For a high spinning ball, it doesn't punish you too severely for miss hits. Glad you're coming around to them! Lmao

This is one of my favorite golf balls. It feels great, very forgiving, wish it checked up a hair more. I love the Q Star Tour and ERC Soft. My top 3 golf ball choices. All forgiving and seem to be durable. Can’t wait to see those reviews as well

Never even gave Bridgestone balls a thought…until I found one of these in the woods. I gotta tell ya, something about this ball just fits my game like a glove. Distance off the tee, greenside spin, accuracy on approach shots, etc. Love it.

So glad Bridgestone didn't mess this ball up! Interesting about the spin. Do you think previous versions of the BRX-S had more spin, but weren't quite as long?

Great review, as always!

Im sure there are plenty of us including myself who don’t watch the ball long enough though the strike zone 😂

Which is exactly why I like these balls, to my surprise! As an elderly, short hitting golfer, I find that, whatever I use, the RX, RXS or the XS (I haven't tried the X) make little noticeable difference. I'll happily play them all (as they are all available in yellow!). I don't get why "people" (you included!!!!) have rated them so low previously! To me, they're great balls, even for a 80mph swing speed, carrying 195 with driver!

Maybe it's because they're more forgiving than similar offerings from Titleist, Srixon and Callaway! No idea, but they seem to suit me!

Thanks for the show. It's very enjoyable for a "ball nerd" like me!

I'll look forward to more of this sort of content! To me, to my surprise, what you've demonstrated is what I've found!

That's very surprising!

Love your videos! You should do a video on what you are doing to get more distance and lower ball flight. YouTube, in person?

I bought a sleeve and played this ball this past weekend. I was surprised how soft it was, but it also came off hot. I definitely noticed the distance difference. Manged to play the same ball for 18, and it held up pretty well. I thought it spun pretty well around the greens. Will definitely play this ball again.

Those balls have sharp raised dimples! Have sleeve I got from you but have not played them. Thanks

Excellent review as always. We are of course coming into the winter season. I don’t know whether you get cold winters where you live. If so do you change your ball during the colder seasons?

Hi Nick. Pleased to see you trying these balls. When I lived in the UK before retiring to Thailand I used the Bridgestone ball. My handicap was 7. Really liked them. Now at my age and with my pension I cannot really afford to pay the price, hence I still use the Inesis 900. No doubt Bridgestone make a terrific golf ball. Got to agree with you that the aid to line up the ball and dots to assist striking the ball should be on the cheaper beginners balls. To be using these balls your quality of play should be decent but would help the beginer concentrate a little more.

Ive been using the vice tour. I need the extra control but have plenty of green spin so its working great and i like the feel.

I've played at least 10 different balls this season for multiple rounds and the RX has been the straightest flying in the bunch. Played a few rounds with it in extremely windy conditions and it cut right through. Gave my buddy a few to try who swings over 105 and it straighten out his power fade that he's been trying to tone down almost completely. And end up being my second best ball after the q star tour. Q star launches higher and spins more around the green.

I play the Will staff and I tried this ball. I cannot tell no difference except for the flight. They’re both awesome balls. It is such a hard decision which one to play with.

Hey. I used to play this ball, but here in Norway it went up in price, and it was much rarer on sale, so I switched it even though it was very good. Playing Titleist AVX now. Got a great price on it, and it consistent and feel great. I know also Wilson makesgreatballs, but price here are up with the Titleist and Bridgestone. Avx was about 50% cheaper when I bought it.

Lazrus just released their own ball, would be interesting to get your review/feedback on it at some point.
