These mild but wild cars are where it’s at! The priceless, enclosed trailer, never driven, show cars are great, but this type of ride is perfect and pretty attainable for most.

I owned a 1970 & 1/2, Z28. When the hood came open at the 2:44 mark, I almost dropped a tear or two! That is exactly what my engine bay looked like. I spent so much time under that hood, that I can still feel the fenders on my beltline. I sold her in order to start a new family when I was still a private in the Army. Miss that ol girl!!!

The the baddest car on the entire show. That is exactly how I want to restore my Corvette. He really preserved the soul of the car.

That color is fantastic. What a deep car. It doesn't try to be more than it has to be, and still comes out more than the sum of it parts....

A friend of mine had a 72' back in the late 70s with a 350. He had his engine rebuilt with a hot street setup. That 350 screamed. I had a 69 383 Road Runner at the time I never raced but could tell he could blow me away in a 1/4 mile and my Road runner pulled pretty good even though it burned rubber through most of 1st gear. Also mine had a rear end of just 3:23. I think he was running something like 4:10 gears.

This car is sweet! Love how he kept it original for the most part but did subtle upgrades to embellish the ride.

My 77 camaro is "Camaro Gold" just like this one, and I wasn't sure if I was a gold guy when I bought mine. But, I love it! Awesome car!

Such a clean cruiser! Even though i have an LS swap, it makes me happy to see these dudes keeping it original like this.

My first car was a 701/2 SS 350 in this Camaro gold…(I’m an old guy) Great restoration, boy, wish I still had it!

Second generation Camaros and Firebirds are my favorites of all time. Simply timeless styling

AutotopiaLA...the BEST show on the tube. As a freshman in high school I sometimes caught a ride home with a senior named Scott who had a white on blue SS. I am 54 now and have no idea what hp it had it at that time it was the car that TOLD ME...YOU NEED A CAR LIKE THIS! Hate to break it to you all but by this time I wanted an AC Cobra. Is a Ford fan I became. When I was a junior I rolled up at school in a 78 Cobra 2 Charlie's angel's car. I had wished Scott was there to see it But was glad he didn't drive it.😁

Wow, this car works so well- everything that's been done, the wheels, the stance, the original paint scheme- what a complete package. I had the same 300 hp/ 350, autumn gold paint on my 1970 Monte Carlo. Had that car for 20 years, should have kept it.

That was exactly the make and model of how my car looked in high school down to the color and stripes.. I've never had so much fun!!

The RS front end is so clean. I also love the small '70 rear spoiler and the gold color is great for that era.

My Uncle Craig ... God Rest his soul he's on the other side he bought a 73 split bumper rally Sport Camaro 350 4-speed and he owned that 73 Camaro since 1975! Some of my best memories are being a kid and cruising with my Uncle Craig in His 73 Camaro somewhere and Van Halen Running With the devil would be playing on the radio and Uncle Craig would be just calmly tooling around town and he was a long hair hippie it was so much fun!!!! My Uncle Craig was very happy when he found out later in life that I was into hot rods and I was working at a machine shop! He talked with me about building a 350 that could light the tires up and when you'd fire the car up in the garage he wanted it to shake the pictures on the walls of the house! Lol he was mad at my Aunt for sitting on Home shopping Network and spending all his money so he gave me an open checkbook and said little rip son and boy did I ever! I never thought I'd run across another Camaro that sounded identical to his. And I use the Edelbrock Performer RPM package on his 350 4 bolt main motor with a set of TRW forged slugs! Factory Steal Crank! Eagle I beam rods! Upgraded the ignition system to MSD 6A There wasn't no such thing as an MSD 6al yet! Southside machine lift bars! We never did make it a posi or change it from the 331 gears I was too worried about my uncle getting her a little two Sideways .... Lol it didn't need posi you dump that clutch and it would light both tires up really easy! I did put a center Force clutch in it! And they weren't no skinny tires we did some aftermarket center line billet Wheels some 17/8 and 17/9 Front tires were 245/50/17.... Rear Tires were 275/50/17! Back when Flowmasters just became popular I put a set of two chamber Flowmaster mufflers dumping behind the rear tires! But no joke when that Camaro fired up that you're displaying here it sounds identical to Uncle Craig's Camaro! Rip Uncle

My mom had a 1970 Camaro in gold. I remember her driving it off the lot and my brother saying, “Don’t get the tires dirty!” Ha! We immediately drove to the beach. Fun times.
