What friends, family remember about four slain Idaho students

Friends and family of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Kaylee Goncalves shared memories of their loved ones, in new '20/20' interviews.

Seeing how full of life they was kills me. The friendship Kaylee and Maddie shared was something really special and not everyone gets a friend like that. It’s not fair what happened to them. I hope their families can find some kind of peace, whatever that may look like. Keep them in your prayers everyone ❤❤❤❤

thats how you remember people that are no longer with us. you try to memorialize every bit of positive thing about them. thats what we should hear about the 4 idaho students. i wish they would bring more of the beautiful stuff about each one of the students. pics and stories of how they affected people positively. stories, events, anything that we as the rest of the world can get to know the beautiful parts. to celebrate it.and to do something positive in their memory. so their memory lives on.

It has to give them some comfort to know that Kaylee and Maddie were right next to each other when they left this world. Can you imagine how destroyed they would be to lose each other? I am blessed to have a friend like Kaylee and Maddie since pre school we are now 53❤❤ she is the sister I never had I’m an only child 😢

It's so beautiful hearing from loved ones and dear friends. They were all so lucky to know all these precious kids. I don't know how in the world one processes and moves on from this kind of shock and horror. It's truly empowering to see them smiling, like Madison's daddy.😢😭

Hearing these stories and seeing these beautiful young adults just ready to start to really live their lives and having it ripped away from them this is beyond heartbreaking. I completely agree with these obviously amazing people makes me wish that I known them or my eighteen-year-old had known them or that I had friends as precious and sweet as they were.
