No matter which side of this debate you are on, we can all agree with the following two facts:
1. India has great (possibly greatest in the world) potential to become the ultimate tourist destination. The geographical and cultural diversity is really unparalleled.
2. If Indians and tourists from other countries push the governance here for great facilities, planning, and services in Indian destinations, then no one can beat us. Let other extremist countries bark as much as they want. India is a golden land and it has always been.

First Maldives took help and support from India whenever required and them, only because there is Islam, they started insulting India and did everything to give trouble to the helpful India and Indians. Shameless Maldives people should learn a good lesson .

Few things :
1. Indians who always rush for foreign vacation should learn from this controversy, we never promoted our own tourism but are always fond of posting pictures of a foreign land to flaunt.
2. Not necessary that tapu like Maldives had good infrastructure from day one, its a demand and supply policy.
3.If we focus on internal tourism, infrastructure will get enhanced.
4. High time Indian government need to stop jumping and donation/helping every other country with free food, meds, money, security, gifts and focus on internal development.
5.Criticizing, trolling your own PM, culture and people frequently on social media on petty things gives outsiders the nerves to talk badly about us.

Lastly, India being too nice to everyone is not good, people take you for granted and treat like shit.

We should STOP 🛑 going there for sure. My 14 friend family were going to come from USA to India then we were going Maldives for 7 days. But we boycott & have changed destination to Lakshadweep. Mr. Modi we all listen & your nation should do the same👍

We don't need relationship with Maldives. Our self respect is more important. Let's boycott tourism and trade with Maldives and make them realise what they messed up with.
