Fani Willis Axed Employee Who Blew Whistle on Misuse of Federal Funds

Fani Willis may have fired the employee who warned her about mishandling federal funds. But she didn't deny her allegations.

Less than a year into her tenure as Fulton County district attorney, in 2021, Willis met with Amanda Timpson, an employee in the district attorney's office responsible for giving nonviolent juvenile offenders "alternatives to the juvenile court system." During their conversation, a recording of which was reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, Timpson claimed to Willis that she had been demoted after attempting to stop a top Willis campaign aide from misusing federal grant money meant for a youth gang prevention initiative.

WOW. Retired NYPD Captain here. That is a horrible way to handle an EEO complaint, with no investigation. Telling someone they’re safe? I was always told that if someone does not FEEL safe, they are NOT safe. That case clearly got swept under the rug.

Fani Willis' voice is SO recognizable nowadays... She couldn't deny this no matter what experts she brings in to debunk its validity 😂

Great work, thank you for posting this. Poor young lady seems almost in tear, good for her to record this meeting.

She was smart enough to record that conversation.

Wow. Hearing Ms. Timpson cry like this broke my heart because I know how it is to be in a work environment and feel like you can't trust the main person you're supposed to trust. I'm glad she turned these tapes over.

Well duh, you didn't think she'd keep someone around who bought to light her criminal acts did you 🙄

Who recorded this? It's sad to hear her crying like that and she should sue for wrongful termination.

She would win in court for wrongful termination without question.

Update: This attorney has a case pending in Court right now. So the Cobb County Superior Court can decide this issue. Also, Mr. Cuffie, who is mentioned in the video no longer works for Fulton County.

Fani Willis is getting too much bad publicity. Her fellow swamp creatures are going to use her as a sacrificial lamb by throwing her under the bus. She has no choice but to remove herself from the case.

it exploits the lack of legal knowledge and use the weak minded to commit errors, unwittingly or wittingly - 'ignorance of the law is no excuse' - how many times have you heard that line...before.

Her problem is she might be implicated in the whole mess because she didn't report it.
On the other hand she might have grounds for a law suit for being fired.

she has no beef with ms. willis, if she believed in her position and the sanctity of her argument then she should file a complaint and expect them to retaliate - that's what they do with other people's money, and by the way 'how come you are not outing the person that is being alleged to have committed the alleged felony. If she was insubordinate and went outside of established channels than she has opened herself up for abuse. the fact that she released this recording is an insight on her agenda - if it violates the state's law on recording without the consent of those wishing not to be recorded. the problem is that people do not understand the law and move on feelings and inference - of no value in a legal setting...

Greed. That is Fani's problem. She really thinks that she's untouchable. Maybe.

this is ridiculous - stating that she has a claim against whom? Obviously if this is the case for Ms. Cuffie; then the removal of Ms. Willis is a slam dunk. I filed numerous complaints against these types and they have the advantage, because they are working with someone else's funds. You must maintain good records, secret recordings I am not at liberty to say, depends on the state/jurisdiction - the most important hing is to understand your rights, which you do not have many in an employee/employer relationship, especially if you are an 'at will' hire.

Fani and Cori Bush could start a club.... or to save a little time they could both just join Weight Watchers.

So just normal day to day Democrat stuff. Every city they run can look to Detriot to see what their future looks like.
