i came across a phone that i believe was lost or stolen, it aswell was stuck on the activation screen; i let my tech savvy friend play around with it for a few hours, and by deleting the DOS startup and running an SSH Alpine:Root i now have a functional iphone 4.

Have u tried jailbreaking it once u get access to home screen? Or hard reset with the buttons? On any version please try and let me know

The only way to fix this is to swap your logic board.

at 0:06 it shows a COMPLETELY different email than the one the FaceTime uses as shown at 2:42 so chances are the owner wont get you email rendering this method useless.

Ok Im getting stuck when trying to dial 112 stage and doesnt go any further. Am I supposed to use MY countrys emergency number for this to work? Im from New Zealand and its 111 dont want cops at my house like the comments Im seeing lol ANY FIXES FOR THIS YET?
