We just received confirmation that the TR-117 Alpha Commander armor is being released to ANYBODY that has not received it! We also received word the Arrowhead are sending out the second page of the Killzone Collaboration Armor & Weapons to everyone, regardless if they were inactive. The FRV can be a handful, unless you switch it down a gear. J.O.E.L seems to be testing us with Defense Gambits, but are we learning? And finally, the Helldivers Movie seems to be a hot topic, so let's check it out!

Omens of Tyranny Trailer:

HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

They shouldn't have well known actors for the movie, if they do they have them their helmets off most of the time and that just wouldn't be Helldivers.

A high budget, triple A live action movie needs to be harrowing and dark. Extreme action, hellscapes, really take you to the frontlines as a Helldiver. Show super earth as this terrifying super-entity that manipulates lies and is actually really scary.

I don't have faith in them to adapt the actual satirical theme of the games if they go that route.

However.... there is Uwe Boll. The ridiculousness of Helldivers' theme is actually perfect for the guy.

I think it'd be hilarious if there was a Helldiver in the movie that you never really saw his face or heard his voice through most of the movie, but he seemed very experienced for a cadet and had a knock for fighting the bugs and surviving. Then toward the end of the movie the diver finally removes his helmet and it's Casper Van Dien very distinctly not being Rico, but totally hinting about having past experience fighting bugs in another life. I think Van Dien would totally be up for doing something like that too.

that comic book article about what actors should be in the helldivers movie is just a list of the most generic "i'm famous" actors and none of them would fit tbh. other than john helldiver of course.

I logged in on my backup account which hasn’t been played since launch, I received the kill zone armor set free stuff, the 117 alpha set, the constitution and the DP-00 Tactical armor set, & the Fallen Hero’s Vengence Cape. But I had to close and reload my game because it could only cycle through 5 items at a time upon opening up the game. i.e. 5 major order completion screens at a time.

I fully agree the tires on the frv have absolutely no grip. It does make for some sick drifts, though. As for the movie, we need some Mandolorian type no helmet removing, except Brasch and maaaybe Eagle-1 and Pelican-1
