I bought carpathen thanks to you and coincidentally its hooked up to the same splitter which i also recommend. It's easy on your joints. I dont recommend the cheaper ones bc they can hurt to turn

Well, yes, a few months ago I saw your video on drip irrigation and got the Proven Winners and I love it. I even switched out some of the emitters to the Carpathian emitters.

Ive definitely been hesitant but this year I bought a kit from dripworks. I still havent set it up yet because i'm still a little intimidated, but I have a few days off from work around memorial day and I'm determined to get it set up finally. I cant wait to not worry about dragging a hose out every day to water

What do you do with your irrigation system when you move your containers into the plastic greenhouse or the garage for the winter?

Thanks for the great info. Last year, I bought my first drip irrigation system by DIG at Lowe's. It seems to have worked OK, but I was never confident about how much to program it for to water my 5 containers of tomatoes. Even if I were watering by hand, I never understood how much to water each plant every day: 1/2 gallon in the am and pm? More? Depends on how hot it was that day? So many variables! I would program my timer to water for 3 or 5 minutes in the am and pm but I never understood how many gallons that delivered. Do your systems explain what timer setting to use to deliver X gallons of water?
