In PS2 Version of GTA 3 amd Vice City, you can auto aim with certain weapons

In GTA 3, VC, LCS & VCS peds only react to lock-on aiming, free aim is only visible to the player not the peds.
In GTA IV، when you aim at your "allies", they probably asume you intend to shoot someone behind them & they block your sight so they duck down, which is actually a good detail!
