Voltage Pen comparison Fluke vs Santronics

I'm a fan of Fluke (most of their stuff). But not ALL.

Today, I'd had enough when one pen seemingly gave the opposite of the correct results in two situations. Showed no voltage when there was, showed voltage when there wasn't. what!? Why. To those that say always use a meter, Yes; eventually, sure. I agree with that, but the pens are the quick triage before getting to that point.

When it comes to Non-Contact Sensors (aka voltage pens) you may want to investigate Santronics. Made in USA, the company puts out a small but excellent product line. I've used their products for many years with great reliability.
