Hubble Spots Comet Near Jupiter

After traveling several billion miles toward the Sun, a wayward young comet-like object orbiting among the giant planets has found a temporary parking place along the way.

The object has settled near a family of captured ancient asteroids, called Trojans, that are orbiting the Sun alongside Jupiter. This is the first time a comet-like object has been spotted near the Trojan population.

Comets are wonderful things, I saw Haley’s comet back in 1986 what a wonderful sight it was. Shame I won’t be around for its next visit.

As long as they are not a threat to Earth, they are great to look at.

So there's is now a mini asteroid field in Jupiter's orbit. 😮

I saw with a telescope lights go around Jupiter at real fast speeds, like seconds to go around it.

So I guess Jupiter is no longer a planet because it did not "clear out it's orbital path"? ...or whatever reason they said Pluto is not a planet.
