SNP accountants QUIT just two days after Peter Murrell arrest

The accountants which audit the SNP's accounts have resigned.

Johnston Carmichael took the decision after reviewing its client portfolio according to the BBC.

The firm are believed to have worked with the part for over a decade and now, by law, the party has until July 7 to present their accounts to the Electoral Commission or face possible sanctions.

It comes after Nicola Sturgeon's husband and former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell was arrested on Wednesday morning amid a police investigation into 'missing' finances.

Negligence by the accountants perhaps or a not deep enough audit and they are worried about their licence to practice which could rebound on the firm if dodgy dealings are found which could impact the companies finances in the future, everyone seems to be distancing themselves from the snp bosses

When a firm of accountants decide to cease acting for them it’s either because they know something …….or else they don’t want to associate any longer with such dubious clients and risk impinging their reputation any further .I reckon it’s the latter .
