It’s a shame to see that new anime fans don’t give respect to Dragon Ball which basically gave rise to the most popular anime genre.

I kinda wish someone would be an SBS for Oda and ask, if you could realistically put goku into the story as an antagonist or an ally how would he go about it and what devil fruit would be given to him.

The East blue crew is pretty similar to the dragon ball z crew in the first ark. Goku and Luffy are pretty similar. NAMI and Bulma are both the ones navigating the crew yamcha is like Sanji and Zoro. And ulong is like usopp.

This new generation of anime watchers really dont know how big and influence Dragon ball z was to the west. I remeber waking up early in the morning on saturdays to watch dragon ball in spanish which by the way is legendary dubbing. Dragon ball literally became a staple in spanish homes it was a staple. My mom knew who goku was.
