The animation of chigiri sprinting and the ball physics were actually really good. There is a PowerPoint I have to admit. But they're probably giving us a taste of what's to come in the u20 match
Edit: ppl were telling me it was bad so I rewatched shidou's goal. It's bad but the build up and the aura around him was actually good unlike the stinky aura from isagi

If only Blue Lock had the same epic animations as Haikyuu or Kuroko Basketball. It would be fire and go down as one of the best sports anime tbh

Why are people surprised when the leakers said not to expect anything for blue lock s2 animation and there was several evidence pointing to it being bad

I am actually one of the people who is switching to the manga, ep 2 was a fucking slideshow, that shit is comparable to seven deadly frames ikyk💀. also, the manga art is really good, I DO NOT KNOW how they managed to mess up!

For only anime-watchers, s2 is still gonna be fire even with this png used in every scene, because they get to discover new characters, where it's going to etc. For those who read manga, there is nothing to be exited about this season. The only thing I wanted as a blue lock manga-reader is the hyped animation, I already know the plot, the character, so for all of those who read manga this must feel the same. Luck to anime watchers, hope you will have a great time, but as a manga reader, saying that I'm disappointed will be understatement

some of the aura's art styles and how well good the still frames were almost make up for the "powerpoint" aspect some ppl are upset by
idk it feels like this episode n this arc is just isagi going "hmm i am thinking" like kinda how it is when we get into the NEL

I have NO IDEA how if they get there they are gonna animate the NEL because half of the manga panels are just still frames

The #1 problem that people don't realize is that studio 8bit decided to release Nagi's movie a few months prior to dropping season 2, leaving the animators to sacrifice some of the quality for season 2.

I just wanna point this out, Animation for anime's doesn't work on "budget" or things like that, they work on time, The animators have awful schedules due to executives at 8-bit, So most of them have to sacrifice putting their all into every scene so that they can finish other cuts and things they have to do, That's why the compositing and CGI look way better while the animation hasn't improved, The animators have way worse schedules than people such as compositors and the CGI team, There isn't "two buckets of Animation and Art".

Since the manga is selling so good, the production committee (Kodansha) is rushing the adaptation due to the hype (money). Again, it’s honestly sad how GREED is the problem in the anime industry. These animators need more TIME and a decent SCHEDULE to produce a good quality adaptation.

I won’t say it’s for ( every show ) but if you guys would pay close attention, you would notice how mangas that aren’t really popular in sales.. have a good adaptation especially talented staff with lots of free lancers… that’s because it’s no ( pressure ) to release the show so fast. But.. since Blue Lock is literally in every top 5 or 10 in sales, they are rushing the production to generate money and they dont won’t to kill the hype of the manga.

Yea it sucks I would agree, but yup that’s how bad the industry is. They don’t care how great this man work is. It’s all about MONEY.
Hopefully what I said makes sense 🙏.
