Vectorman was first released on the Genesis in 1995 and then Worldwide on the PAL Sega Mega Drive the following months. Japan never saw a release of this action platform game developed by BlueSky Software Vectorman is known for its sprites to simulate three-dimensional animation, and to compete against the Super Nintendo game Donkey Kong Country. A Hit Series was released on the Genesis in 1997

Vectorman what an amazing game and Sega Genesis classic. The score, the plot, the lore and mythology surrounding the orbots and earth in 2049, the gameplay, the 90s comic book and cyberpunk aesthetic taking influence from movies like The Crow, Blade Runner, Terminator 2: Judgement Day. And who can forget the graphics that have aged like a fine wine. That’s what Vectorman and it’s sequel are a fine wine. I was introduced to this series from Meltingman234 forgotten media video on it and really feel in love with this game and wish Sega did more. Sega doing yet another 2D sonic game evoking the Sega Genesis classics but come on when Vectorman 3 or Ecco III, you made Streets of Rage 4 so why not continue other classic franchises
