Now try flying Ryanair. Last flight to Edinburgh was cancelled 50min before takeoff. One person at the service counter for a queue of 120 ppl, 20min per party. We were very early and at the front of the line, somehow made it onto a fight to Manchester and took a bus to Glasgow then Edinburgh. After our trip we filled out online forms for 3h to claim a refund of the extra cost, and still waiting for a reply. It’s been months.

My stepdad flew spirit a couple months ago and almost died, plane almost crashed, pilot probably had no idea what the fuck he was doing.

I tried Spirit Airlines once.

The seats were so cramped and uncomfortable, but on my second flight back to my homestate, they had a seating bid war where I happened to win and get an upgraded Bigger Seat which is basically a super wide and was considered maybe Business Class or low-tier First Class for only $29 and it made ALL the difference and was better than American Airlines in that respect.

But basic bare minimum Spirit Airline sucks.

I flew Spirit from Seattle to Las Vegas for $41 December 2022. Fit everything I needed for the weekend in a small "personal item" bag, no extra charge, and let them assign my seat. No complaints.
