I hope Wout van Aert rounds into form this spring but I don’t think he’s going to compete with Mathieu van der Poel this year. Van der Poel is in such extraordinary form I think Pogacar is the only one who has the ability to be competitive vs MvdP this Spring. It should be an interesting Ronde van Vlaanderen.

I think Visma Lease A Bike will come stronger later in the spring. Ben Tulett is in form and goes to Amstel Gold Race. Matthew Brennan is in form, Jørgen Nordhagen is approching good form, pulling strong when Tullet won 40thSettimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali.

Mads Pedersen seems very strong this year. I think he has built on his classic endurance while putting less work into sprinting. He is page one in the race for the big cobblestone!
