I think at a certain point it's less about the actual offer and more able how the company treats you in general.

He probably would have stayed if he got invited to twitch rivals and other events more, since they rarely invited him to those things, i think he was in the ludwig one before he left to youtube and toasts rust one and that's it i think.

I like watching livestreams on youtube better. The vod system is perfect here you can easily rewind and rewatch livestreams.

People flaming him for the whole name debacle. It disrespectful and twitch should have at least proof read the damn thing but they just saw another cash cow leaving. If you disagree just read why Stephen Curry went with Under Armor instead of Nike.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Because they mispronounced his name

And then Twitch announced their upcoming changes...

lol, it's no brainer.
You can see company sincerity on their 1st offer

Makes an mistake on their client's name in an OFFICIAL email and all they could bring up is matching the same amount of money as Youtube even after this mess-up.

I'm surprised, i didn't expect they would do something like this for a small time streamer for fun like him. Twitch really cares.

Extending an initial low ball offer then immediately snapping back with a much higher offer is slightly insulting. It’s like, ” Oh you were hoping to keep me at half the price? Nice.”

What I heard is that they didn't match. His words chosen were "pretty much dead even" so below YT's offer or he would've said Twitch offered more.

Ultimately Sykkuno was thinking long term and it probably came down to what he thought would be the more stable platform in the long run. Even before the recent news came out about Twitch making changes, you could see the problems. His friends making the jump to YouTube and obviously seeing success and being very happy with it most likely encouraged him to make the switch as well. Very good timing on his part to make this decision — with Twitch wanting to implement changes that obviously hurts its creators, more and more streamers will be wanting to move to YouTube. He was able to get in at a time where he had more leverage and negotiating power.

Matching an offer... isn't the same as beating it.

I know the real reason why he choose YouTube . YouTube offer one more deal that twitch didn’t realize . And it was to pay for his water bills . LOL . Just joking .

Ppl think some of these offers are garbage when in fact live streaming doesnt make money yet. Live streaming has been in this weird state of we think theres potential here to make a lot of money but havent figured it out yet n every ones over paying streamers to try to keep as relevant as possible. Listen youtube isnt paying streamers cause they think they can make money from them, they are paying them more so to make sure twitch isnt the only live streaming spot just in case twitch is some how able to successfully monetize (everyones happy with) live streaming. Twitch right now is the only one really trying to do so as Amazon obviously has told them to start breaking even n profits cause if ppl dont know twitch has lost tens of millions a year operating twitch untill very recently with the ad dumps. Live streaming platforms have been losing money constantly so seeing some streamers bitch about contract shit is kind ot funny cause once everything settles down live streamers are going to actually be paid what they're worth n its not very much. Think about it, other then subs and donos the only real way is ads n a live streamer with 100k xqc would make just as much money as any vid on youtube with 100k views n its a problem cause not many watch vods of live streamers so u only get views of the ppl actually watching live. Basically live streaming isnt worth it unless a streamer can really figure out how to get ppl to watch vods because as of right now a streamer is only really worth as much live veiwers they have is equal to youtube views n so untill twitch can figure something out live streaming isnt worth it as the biggest streamer xqc would only make a few hundred dollars a day from ads for 100k ppl with a reg 8 stream which is still good but yeah its not in the millions like so many expect there deals to be worth, remember they still get sub, dono money so.
